Job Summary

Join a team successfully implementing Envision as a project’s digital construction management solution. Supporting the project as it transitions to the daily capture of field data in Envision. Consulting to the project as it utilises Envision data to provide project performance clarity from days 1 to 30 in what is typically a monthly reporting cycle.

Client facing implementation lead consultant, assisting sales and technical teams with customer solution design and implementation planning, and ultimately the management of the implementation of Envision for a construction project.

Responsibilities include

  • Working directly with project teams to implement Envision on major civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Based in Brisbane however frequently interstate remote travel or overseas travel is required
  • Potential secondment to client projects
  • Delivery across all aspects of the implementation lifecycle:
    • Scoping and documenting project requirements
    • Mapping existing process and defining new processes
    • Configuring Envision and linking to other systems
    • Coordinating data load into Envision
    • Identify and gathering project data and reporting structures
    • Delivering hands-on individual and classroom style training
    • Coaching and mentoring users following training
    • Supporting sales with technical pre-sales demonstrations
    • Facilitating workshops
    • Providing Level 1 and 2 technical support for Envision
    • Responding to customer requests

Required skills and experience

  • Project management skills are essential for success
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting major civil and infrastructure projects in project engineering, planning or cost engineering roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engagement with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Thorough knowledge of project management processes, tools and techniques including estimating, cost control, planning and contract administration
  • Advanced MS Excel skills

Desirable skills and experience

  • Developed and used an engineer’s cost tracking spreadsheet for daily analysis of cost, progress and performance trends
  • Prepared and managed project cost budgets and forecasts
  • Developed daily, weekly and monthly cost, progress and change reporting, collected of actual costs to assist in forecasting process
  • An understanding of standard project WBS and reporting structures across all systems and the processes uses to ensure standardisation
  • An understanding of earned value analysis
  • Implemented project controls software
  • Experience with cost control systems such as Ecosys, PRISM or similar
  • Experience with planning systems such as Oracle Primavera
  • CAPM or similar certification

We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented individual to project manage the implementation of Envision on large civil and infrastructure projects. Working directly with clients, this role requires good communication, great listening and a structured approach to problem solving.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting major civil and infrastructure projects with Tier 1 or 2 contractors in all aspects of project tracking, including the following disciplines: planning, cost control and progress measurement, performance analysis and reporting.
